Preventive health care
Yearly well visit examinations, vaccinations, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia tests and fecal exams are important in maintaining healthy pets. Our new puppy and kitten care is broken down into several visits so that the new pets are not given more than two vaccines at one time. We offer wellness profiles (a baseline blood profile) for younger pets and complete Senior Health Profiles for older dogs (over 7) and cats (over 10). These profiles include exams, vaccinations, radiographs, complete blood profiles, fecal exams, urinalysis, ECGs, and follow up consultations. |
 |
Vaccinations
We administer all routine vaccinations. Canine and Feline Distemper , Rabies (required by law), Kennel cough, Feline Leukemia, and Lyme. Due to the heavy tick infestation in our area we place a large emphasis on the Lyme vaccine. |

AVID Microchips with National Database registration
Microchips can be done in a regular exam or when a pet is under anesthesia for another procedure. The microchips are implanted under the skin and can be read by a universal scanner. The numbers are entered into a national database with information available to all veterinarians and shelters. |
